PropFinds is operated by To Digital Tech Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number [company number — set at PropFinds → Legal Details], registered office [registered office address — set at PropFinds → Legal Details]. 1. What we do
PropFinds is an information service. We publish property and company information compiled from public records and licensed data sources, and we provide tools that let subscribers act on that information themselves. We are not an estate agent, broker, sourcing agent or adviser. We do not act for any buyer or seller, we do not introduce parties to each other, and we do not negotiate transactions.
2. Personal data we process
2.1 Subscriber data
If you create an account or subscribe, we process your name, email address, password (stored hashed by WordPress), subscription tier, billing information handled by WooCommerce and our payment provider, your saved searches and saved properties, your search history, and — if you use the outreach tool — a record of the letters you have asked us to post.
Lawful basis: performance of our contract with you (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) for accounting records.
End-User Records. HM Land Registry licenses us the property ownership data on this platform on terms that require us to keep a record of everyone who accesses it — your name, contact details, the IP address from which you accepted our data usage terms, and a record of any outreach letters you have sent. We are required to make those records available to HM Land Registry, or an auditor appointed by them, for compliance and fraud-prevention purposes. We keep them for as long as you hold an account, and for two years afterwards.
Lawful basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — meeting the licence conditions under which we are permitted to provide the service to you.
2.2 Company officer and registered-office data
Our company marketplace is compiled automatically from HM Land Registry's UK companies that own property in England and Wales dataset (formerly CCOD) and Companies House public data. Both are public registers. This includes information that is personal data about individuals: the names of company officers and, where a company's registered office is an individual's address, that address.
We publish only what is necessary to identify a company and its property holdings: the company name and number, its status and incorporation date, its SIC codes, its registered office as published by Companies House, the names of its current officers, and the properties registered to it. We do not collect or publish officers' dates of birth, residential addresses, correspondence addresses, signatures, or any contact details beyond the registered office. We do not enrich this data with information from any other source.
Lawful basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)). Our legitimate interest is operating an information service that makes public-register property ownership data usable. We have carried out a Legitimate Interests Assessment balancing this against the rights of the individuals concerned, and have put in place the suppression process described in section 6. A copy of the assessment is available on request.
You have an absolute right to object to this processing. See section 6.

3. Where the data comes from
- Directly from you, when you register, subscribe or use the site.
- HM Land Registry — the UK companies that own property in England and Wales dataset (formerly CCOD). Information produced by HM Land Registry. © Crown copyright 2026. This dataset is licensed to us on bespoke terms; it is not Open Government Licence data.
- Companies House — public company and officer data, licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
- Licensed commercial property data providers (PropertyData, Street Data, Searchland) for property attributes, estimated yields and rental figures.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
We share data only with the service providers that run the platform: our hosting provider, our payment provider, and our email provider — and with HM Land Registry or its appointed auditor, where they exercise their right to audit how the licensed property data is used (see section 2.1). Where you use the outreach tool, the letter you write is printed and posted to the company's registered office — the letter contains the name and contact details you choose to put in it. We do not add anything to it, and we do not receive or forward any reply.

6. Your rights, and how to object
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You can also withdraw consent where we rely on it, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
If you are a company officer listed on our marketplace
Your company appears because it is recorded as a property owner in public registers — you did not ask to be listed, and you can ask to be removed.
Email [privacy contact email — set at PropFinds → Legal Details] with the company name and number. We will remove the company from the marketplace and delete the officer names we hold against it. Once suppressed, it stays suppressed: our data refreshes will not re-list it. We will respond within one month.
You do not have to give a reason.

We will update this page when our processing changes, and update the "last updated" date above.
